The Committee is Updated, 2023

On June 9 and 30, the Expert Committee on the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Ukraine under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine held meetings to update the Committee’s composition, elect a chairman and co-chairman, and form working groups.

Oleksii Molchanovskyi, Head of the Data Science Master’s Program at the Ukrainian Catholic University, became the Committee’s chairman. Before that, Mr. Molchanovskyi coordinated the working group on education and science.

Given the importance of developing AI regulation policies in Ukraine, the committee members introduced the position of co-chair of the Regulatory Committee. Tymofiy Mylovanov, President of the Kyiv School of Economics, became the new co-chair.

The Committee has formed four working groups:

• On AI regulation in Ukraine. Coordinator: Tymofii Mylovanov.
• On science and education. Coordinator: Dmytro Chumachenko.
• On AI applications in public administration. Coordinator: Andrii Zablovskyi.
• On security. Coordinator: Vitaliy Honcharuk.
