A mini-course on AI for schools developed by Committee experts

In the framework of the Expert Committee for the Development of Artificial Intelligence under the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, a series of lessons “Grades 10-11. Informatics. Artificial Intelligence” was developed by experts.

The materials are available at “Learning passport” platform by UNICEF.

The course contains structured lesson plans in the section “Information Technology in Society” of the basic module of the current computer science program for grades 10-11. This development combines discovering the latest technologies and digital services with a practical approach and active learning methods. The materials of the educational series “Artificial Intelligence for Schools” of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, as well as other available web resources were used as the content of the classes.

In addition to a brief overview of the theoretical material, there are options for practical tasks for individual or group work of students, lists of questions for the organization of discussions in class, as well as an expanded list of links to additional resources. Teachers can use these materials to organize the learning process in the classroom or in a distance or mixed format.
